This document gives an overview over various customization and configuration options that support tailoring the easy-connect whitelabel app framework for various use cases. This is not a complete list of possibilities and the features are constantly evolving. But the point is to inspire clients to explore various usage scenarios and best practices.
You can independently re-arrange homescreen items or create new ones. At launch you'll get access to a set of different item types that can be re-used any time. Different items can be displayed for different user groups based on e.g. memberships & interests.
The user greeting can be customised in different ways to suit the brand.
For example, there is the option of a simple greeting. Region-specific dialects are also possible.
It is possible to customise the greeting and provide the user with information at the same time. You can link various panels to the welcome message, which redirect directly to a specific information page, such as information on ticket categories or the FAQs.
It is possible to address the user by name if they are logged in or registered with a specific membership.
Another option is to address the user with the region after they have selected a particular region.
There is also the option of not including a greeting.
The Upcoming Events Slider filters the upcoming events in the following days.
A panel can link to an info page that provides information about certain memberships (e.g. programmes for young visitors with certain discounts). From the info page, you can link directly to the membership sign-up page.
The organisers and various venues/stages/houses that are accessible via the app can be displayed clearly and collectively (including photos) in a slider. After selecting the tile corresponding to the location, you can filter by the events taking place there.
Performances can be sorted into different categories or genres. Each event is assigned to a genre in advance, allowing you to filter for them in this category on the home screen. The different categories are displayed in a slider.
Users have the option of inviting friends to use the app. By using a discount code, both users can redeem a voucher in the app through the referral. This has the advantage of generating new users and encouraging them to make a purchase in the app at the same time. The voucher can then be redeemed in the app and used for the next purchase.
A search bar positioned at the end of the home screen, for example, allows the user to open the search bar, which can also be opened with the search icon that is permanently positioned on the home screen.
In the blog or news slider, current news or blog entries can be published that link to a page on which the user is informed about upcoming events or topics curated by the editorial team.
You can also link to an external website from a tile on the home screen. For example, to the organisation's webshop or a sponsor of the app.
Here you can link to trailers, for example, in a slider. External links can be displayed collectively. In detail, for example, you can link to trailers on YouTube that can be played in the app.
Existing constituencies can be synced from your ticketing system and used e.g. to enable promotions. But the app also offers the functionality to create new memberships, e.g. based on age or student verification. Those memberships can be synced to your ticketing system.
Users can prove their age by taking a photo of their ID document in the app for verification. It is then automatically checked and approved or rejected.
It is also possible to check student status in the app. To do this, the user's university and student email address are requested and checked.
We can display a membership card design for certain memberships.
In addition to the 'Add friends' and wishlist features mentioned here, all other items from the home screen and info tiles can also be displayed on the community page. The Community section can also be displayed only for certain members.
You can use the 'add friends' function to invite your friends to the app - if they are registered, they will be added to the friends bar. This allows you to book tickets for them and personalise them for your friends.
By liking the icons of individual events in the app, you can not only add your own events to your wish list. You can also view your friends' wish lists. This allows you to compare and arrange a cultural visit together.
Current tickets for upcoming cultural visits can be displayed under 'My Tickets'. When you click on the screen, you are first taken to an overview of the booked event - then to the tickets, which you show at the entrance and which are then scanned by the admission staff.
All events already visited can be displayed in the ticket archive. If you click on them, you will be redirected to the info page of the visited event.
The onboarding screens can be customised and correspond to the branding. They are used to welcome the user after the download, introduce the app, highlight important functions, request necessary authorisations and guide the user through the first steps.
