Why just count tickets when you can celebrate journeys? Reward the curious newcomer. Applaud the genre explorer. Honor your most devoted fans. Our new badges feature turns every milestone into a moment worth sharing — and a reason to attend another event.
Customizable badges: Create and manage badges easily through the admin panel.
Flexible placement: Display badges on the home screen or the community screen.
Targeted visibility: Limit badges to specific groups such as student members or loyalty tiers.
Integrated logic: When a user earns a badge, they automatically receive a membership, which can trigger personalized communications or sync with your ticketing data.
Badges add a playful, motivational layer to your app — encouraging users to engage more often and discover more of your program. This feature helps build engagement, celebrate milestones, and create a sense of community within your app.
The automated membership creation for badges means that this information can be synced with your ticketing system and allows for targeted communication both in the app, your connected systems (like your email marketing platform or customer data lake), and even "surprise and delight" in-person interactions – like prompting a front of house worker to give them a special welcome when a ticket is scanned.
Badges are created directly in the admin panel.
Each badge can have custom titles, descriptions & visuals for the active and inactive state. They are linked to a specific membership as criteria (e.g., "First Visit", "Genre Explorer", "Superfan").
You can limit visibility of the whole badge section to certain user groups — such as student members or loyalty tiers.
Badges are tied to memberships in our system.
When a user achieves a defined milestone (e.g. first purchase), the associated membership is automatically assigned.
The badge in the app will turn to the active state (e.g. grey to color image) as soon as the user gets the membership.
These memberships can also be used to trigger targeted communication, personalize content in the app, and sync data with your ticketing system for integrated audience insights.
Badges can be displayed on the home screen or on the community screen.
Users can track their progress and discover which badges they can earn next — fostering continuous engagement.
To activate this feature you'll need to create badges via the admin panel, link them to the according memberships and add them to a category that can either be placed on the homescreen or on the community screen. You can find a detailed documentation on how to set up badges in our admin panel documentation.
